Transaction Item Types – Products

The following options are available for product items and are important to understand when managing transactions.

OptionDescription
Selecting the checkbox to the left of a product allows you to apply a promotion to that item. Once selected, a dropdown will appear at the top of the list where you can search for available promotions.
Clicking the Edit tool here lets you assign the product to an employee. This is typically the person who made the sale or, if you track commissions, the person who will receive credit for it.
This displays the product’s price. An edit tool appears to adjust the price. User permission required.
Displays the quantity of the product in the transaction. You can click and update this value, which will automatically adjust the transaction total.
The X icon allows you to remove the product from the transaction. User permission required.
Discount LabelThis label appears under the product to indicate the discount amount applied to that item.
