Transaction Item Types – Balance Payment

A balance payment allows a customer to add funds to their account balance, which can be used for future transactions.

Adding a Balance Payment via The More Tab

  1. Click the More Tab in the transaction side panel.
  2. In the Balance Payment section, enter the amount the customer wants to add to their account.
  3. Click the Add (+) button to include the balance payment in the transaction.
  4. Once added, you can view it in the Items tab. From there, you can:
    • Remove the balance payment from the transaction (if you have the necessary permissions).

This feature is ideal for customers who want to prepay or maintain a credit on their account for future use.
