Transaction Item Types – Appointment Services

The following options are available for service items when they are linked to an appointment and are important to understand when managing transactions. Please note: service items added through an appointment cannot be individually removed from a transaction. If you need to remove a service tied to an appointment, you must first delete the transaction and then cancel the associated appointment to avoid charging the customer for a service they did not receive.

Selecting the checkbox to the left of a service allows you to apply a promotion to that item. Once selected, a dropdown will appear at the top of the list where you can search for available promotions.
This displays the service’s price. An Edit tool is also available to adjust the price directly. User permission required.
This option allows you to add a tip for the employee who performed the service. The tip amount will be added to the customer’s total. Manage via branch configurations whether an optional or required field.
Discount LabelThis label appears under the service to indicate the discount amount applied to that item.
